On November 23, Kittipong Uttamawetin, President of Rayong Technical College, and Veerachai Sombatkamrai, President of Rayong Industrial College, visited YRCTI to attend the Thailand Dayu School Work Promotion Meeting. President Hu Hao, and Vice Presidents Jian Haoran and Zhou Zhiqi, attended the Meeting. The persons in charge of relevant departments and secondary colleges also participated in the Meeting.

Work Promotion Meeting
President Hu Hao extended a warm welcome to the visiting Thai institutions and introduced the development history of YRCTI, the current situation of its international education, as well as the achievements made in regional industry-education cooperation and other aspects. He stated that since the establishment of the Thailand Dayu School, both universities have placed great emphasis on its development, achieving significant results in talent cultivation, resource development, and cultural exchange. He hoped to expand cooperation with the Thai institutions in fields such as new energy vehicles and e-commerce, jointly develop teaching and vocational standards, and promote the in-depth development of China-Thailand vocational education cooperation. He also expressed his aspiration to develop the Thailand Dayu School into a model for China-Thailand vocational education cooperation, aiming to cultivate more high-quality technical talents and skilled professionals for both countries, thereby advancing their economic and social development.
Kittipong Uttamawetin expressed gratitude for the warm reception from YRCTI. He stated that the Thai government places great importance on the development of vocational education and hopes to strengthen cooperation with YRCTI, drawing on its advanced teaching concepts and experience to promote the progress of vocational education in Thailand. He emphasized that Dayu School serves as an important platform for skill development, technological exchange, and cultural mutual learning, playing a crucial role in enhancing the practical abilities and technical proficiency of Thai students. The successful experience of Chinese universities in government-school-enterprise collaboration and industry-education integration is highly significant for the development of vocational education in Thailand.
President Veerachai Sombatkamrai gave full recognition and high praise to YRCTI’s unique features, educational philosophy, and standards. He introduced the basic situation of Rayong Industrial College in Thailand. He expressed a hope that in the future, Rayong Industrial College could collaborate with YRCTI in fields such as new energy vehicles and electrical automation. He proposed establishing joint industry internship bases and developing a model of industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation, further promoting exchanges in vocational education between the two countries.
Subsequently, President Hu Hao and President Kittipong Uttamawetin of Rayong Technical College jointly presented appointment certificates to the persons in charge of the China-Thailand international teaching standard development project. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on the curriculum design and student training at Dayu School, as well as the latest policy changes in vocational education in China and Thailand.

During the visit, the delegation toured the on-campus laboratories and training facilities, as well as the “Footprints” cultural landscape. They expressed appreciation for the training conditions, faculty, and the outcomes of talent cultivation at YRCTI, and were optimistic about future collaboration.
