From November 4 to 13, the "Exploring the Central Plains, Experiencing the Yellow River" study tour for Italian faculty and students was successfully held at YRCTU. Participants included educators and students from five Italian institutions and educational organizations, including the Lombardy Institute of Mechatronics and Industrial Technology and the Berlusconi-Florenti Vocational Education College.
This program was meticulously designed by the university to meet the needs of Italian participants, leveraging its specialized expertise and resources. It integrated professional lectures, hands-on training, and cultural immersion into a comprehensive study experience. The curriculum featured specialized courses and practical training in drone virtual simulation, new energy vehicles, industrial robotics, and cross-border e-commerce, complemented by traditional cultural activities and corporate visits. Through lectures, practical workshops, and learning traditional crafts like woodblock New Year paintings, Italian participants enhanced their professional skills while experiencing the charm of Chinese civilization.

On the afternoon of November 13, the closing ceremony was held in Conference Room 7122 of Building 7. At the ceremony, Ji Yao, Director of the Liaison and Cooperation Department, reviewed the ten-day training program and expressed hope that upon returning to Italy, the delegation members would share their experiences and insights gained in China, serving as cultural ambassadors for friendship between the two nations. Ms. Vittoria Morosi, the Italian delegation leader, expressed gratitude for the university's meticulous arrangements and looked forward to deeper collaboration in areas such as talent development in the future. Subsequently, Wei Zongchao, Dean of the School of International Education, presented training certificates to the delegation members. Italian faculty and students unanimously stated that the program provided them with a direct experience of the distinctive features of China's vocational education, deepened their understanding of China's industrial development status and technological innovation achievements, and offered a close-up encounter with the profound heritage of traditional Chinese culture.
