China-Russia Cooperative Education Program

I. Program Introduction

Since 2016, Yellow River Conservancy Technical University (YRCTU) and South Ural State University (SUSU) have jointly launched cooperative programs in Road and Bridge Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering Inspection Technology, Environmental Art Design, and Mechanical Design and Manufacturing. These programs are included in China’s national enrollment plan for regular higher vocational education. Through diversified collaboration models such as joint cultivation and framework cooperation, YRCTU continues to advance high-level, forward-looking international educational partnerships. We are committed to nurturing high-quality talents with global vision and international competitiveness, providing robust support for national strategies and regional development.

Teaching Model: A curriculum system combining "Russian Oral Language + Bilingual (Chinese-Russian) Professional Courses," delivered jointly by Russian and Chinese faculty.

Study Model: Students who complete all required credits and meet the graduation criteria of YRCTU will receive a Chinese regular higher vocational education diploma. Those who fulfill the requirements of SUSU may opt for a one-year exchange program at the institution during their third academic year.

The Road and Bridge Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering Inspection Technology, Environmental Art Design, and Mechanical Design and Manufacturing programs at Yellow River Conservancy Technical University are all flagship disciplines, supported by a strong faculty and recognized for their first-class teaching standards and talent development quality in China. Similarly, South Ural State University in Russia boasts outstanding strengths in these programs, with abundant teaching resources and talent cultivation standards that align with international norms. III. Program Introduction

Mechanical Design and Manufacturing (China-Russia Cooperative Education Program)

1. Educational Objectives

This program integrates high-quality curriculum resources from SUSU to cultivate advanced technical professionals. It aims to develop well-rounded bilingual talents with solid theoretical foundations and practical skills in mechanical design and manufacturing. Students will acquire computer-aided design (CAD) capabilities and be qualified for roles involving manufacturing, operation, maintenance, debugging, technical analysis, and management of mechanical equipment. Graduates will emerge as versatile technical experts proficient in both specialized mechanical engineering skills and the Russian language.

2. Core Courses

Russian (Intensive Reading, Oral Communication, Listening Comprehension), Mechanical Drafting, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Automation Control Technology, Innovative Mechanical Design, Robotics Technology, Fundamentals of Mechanical Manufacturing, Fundamentals of Mechanical Design, Process Planning, Electrical and Electronic Technology, CNC Machine Programming and Operation, Basics of Mechanical Management, Conventional Machining and Part Production, and Advanced Manufacturing Technology

3. Career Prospects

Graduates are primarily employed in the mechanical manufacturing industry, undertaking roles such as: Mechanical Drafting (Drafting Technician), 3D Part Design (3D Design Engineer), Mechanical Process Planning (Process Engineer), Production Project Organization & Management (Production Planner), Equipment Installation, Debugging & Modification (Installation & Commissioning Technician), and Machine Operation (Machine Operator).
