JOHN ROBERT LUTCHKO, an American instructor in the Sino-U.S. cooperative education program, has served as a professional foreign educator in Engineering Surveying Technology at our university since 2016.
With fifteen years of experience in cross-cultural education and curriculum development, Mr. Lutchko excels at integrating U.S. pedagogical approaches with local Chinese practices, emphasizing hands-on skills and innovative thinking in his teaching. He actively employs project-based learning (PBL) and case-study methodologies, significantly enhancing students' technical English proficiency and cross-cultural communication skills in the field. Beyond the classroom, he has contributed substantially to program development and teaching material design, playing a pivotal role in advancing the internationalization of our Engineering Surveying Technology program.
