The university successfully attracted the Regional IT Specialization Research Institute and the Gyeongbuk Ubiquitous Technology Research Center to jointly undertake a national project with an investment of KRW 13 billion, setting a standard for South Korea's ubiquitous industry.

Daegu University has signed academic exchange agreements with nearly 300 overseas universities across 30 countries to strengthen global exchanges. It offers scholarships specifically for international students to help alleviate their financial burdens.
