The School of Information Engineering currently has 37 faculty members, including 30 with senior or intermediate professional titles and 25 "dual-qualified" teachers (possessing both academic credentials and industry experience). Among them, 26 hold master's degrees, forming a team of highly experienced teaching professionals. The School currently enrolls over 1,200 students and has produced more than 5,000 graduates with associate degrees, achieving an impressive initial employment rate exceeding 95% for graduates.
The School of Information Engineering currently maintains four specialized teaching and research divisions: Computer Application Technology, Digital Media Application Technology, Computer Network Technology, and Software Technology. Equipped with comprehensive teaching facilities, the School possesses over 500 computers of various types and cloud-based smart classrooms. It houses 12 specialized training labs, including a Computer Operation Technology Lab, Network Engineering and Management Lab, and Integrated Website Development Lab, alongside multimedia classrooms that support modern teaching methods. The School offers a wide range of hands-on training programs, such as Computer Operation Technology, Network Engineering and Management, Smart Home Systems, Computer Information Security Experiments, Computer Hardware Repair, System Maintenance, Android Application Development, Graphic Design, Large-Scale Database Development, Web Design and Website Construction, 3D Animation Design, Software Engineering, Software Testing, Digital Imaging Art, and Interior Rendering Production.
Over the past three years, the School of Information Engineering has undertaken 8 provincial-level "Teacher Quality Enhancement Program" projects and established 9 industry-education collaboration programs, including customized training classes for the South-to-North Water Diversion Middle Route Project Administration Bureau and International Engineering Division of SINOHYDRO ENGINEERING BUREAU 8 CO., LTD.. Through years of practical experience, the School has cultivated a dedicated faculty team characterized by rich teaching experience, strong teamwork spirit, and commitment to educational excellence.
